The maverick movie maker Mani Ratnam is often known for his crafty style of movie making and his intense way to storytelling. Usually, many are fans for his packaging the movie and the importance he gives for heroines. Now, it is heard that he has gone in for a romantic tryst with a pretty girl.

She happens to be the daughter of a big hero. Well, we are talking about Sonam Kapoor, daughter of Anil Kapoor and it is heard that Mani has approached her to be part of his romantic venture which is going to start soon. The film would also mark the debut of Gautham, son of veteran hero Karthik.

Sources say Sonam was in two minds but it was her father who convinced her to be part of the project. Incidentally, Anil made his debut into cinema with a Telugu film so he has full knowledge of how the south industry works and its benefits. Let us wait for the formal announcement then.
