Director: SS Rajamouli
Producer: Sai Korrapati
Cast: Nanee, Samanta, Sudeeep
Music: MM. Keeravani
Eega is a much
awaited project from Rajamouli. He was able to keep the excitement
sustained in the audience for so long. Finally the audio is launched in a
typical Rajamouli house way. Obviously the story about Eega will give
less chance for having regular commercial songs. Seems like there is a
love thread that goes between Lead characters so there has to be one or
two love songs and then the rest of focus should go to Eega. Rajamouli
never deviated so far from MM keeravani as his Music director. Their
team effort is clearly seen in many of their earlier films as they have a
different level of understanding. With this genre movies where the
focus is on Eega, the movie has to go hand in hand with the Story. Thats
why this movie has only 4 songs. The title song had a remix version,
again is a space filler. Lyrics department is shared across and each
song is written by different lyricist. From the theatrical trailer, the
story can be imaginable. However how the visual feast will be created by
Rajamouli will be the curiosity that viewers will have in mind and what
was the effort that took almost 2 years for the movie in making will be
known soon, when the movie will be released.
1. Nene Nanee Ne
Artist(s): Deepu, Sahiti
Lyricist: MM. Keeravani
The album
started with a pretty feel good song. Deep started very well, assisted
by simple instrumentation. The rhythm pattern is heard many times before
but added value to this song. Deepu is an asset to this song, though
he needs to work a little on high notes. Sahiti is limited to humming
part doesn't get any space for her own. Keeravani wrote simple lyrics.
Overall a good hummable song the phrase "kanapadina ok, kanumarugoutunna
ok" will haunt and finally ends on a good note.
2. Ee Ga Ee Ga Ee Ga
Artist(s): Deepu, Rahul Sipligunj, Sravana Bhargavi, Chaitra
Lyricist: Rama Jhogaya Sastry
Naani, is the
buzz word for this album, Nene naani, My name is naanee. Rama jogayya
sastry, has written multi lingual song, not sure why. The audio release
showed a count down numbers of 10, this song in movie might explain
what is all about the number counting. High paced number. As the song
goes by, the pattern, and rhythm gets pace and slowly peaks at times.
Eega movie should have the sound of the Eega, this comes in the end of
the song. Situational song, every singer has put good effort to bring in
the effects that are required for the song. Rahul was given two songs
in Keeravani's earlier movie Dammu, and he gets another chance. He might
have impressed Keeravani so much. Suprisingly female singers get less
footage in this entire album.
3. Konchem Konchem
Artist(s): Vijay Prakash
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram
Ananth
Sriram excelled in this song. Pisinaari Naarive, Pisaranta palakave, aa
kanche tenchave ivvalaina was nice phrase. Keeravani added stylish tune,
the rest of the colors and presented this song in a amicable way.
Keeravani is adopting new ways of composing to please young audience.
Wazz up is done for the same I guess. Obviously he doesn't have any
choice. Vijay Prakash did a decent job and another fine song from
Keeravani.
4. Lava Lava
Artist(s): Anuj Gurwara, Shivani
Lyricist: Chaitanya Prasad
Another stylish
presentation from Keeravani, but Anuj failed to present this song.
"Lava Lava, gundelo laava, vennello marige valcano nuvva" sounded
strainful and stressful. He lacked the voice range and also failed to do
justice to words. Again Shivani is limited to humming and chorus.
Keeravani gave high voltage music but somehow it lacked few things to
impress.
5. Ee Ga Ee Ga Ee Ga ( Remix)
Lyricist: Rama Jhogaya Sastry
Added a voice of Eega for this remix song. The sound of Eega also mixed randomly throughout.
Pick(s) of the album: Nene Nanee ne, Konchem Konchem
Keeravani
presented a new perspective of himself through this movie. He didn't go
wrong and the expectations are met. He gave what the movie wanted and
two nice songs to please other audience and the team succeeded another
time. With expectations that Rajamouli will provide a visual treat, this
music might be appearing too minute if he can succeed what everyone
expects. All the best for the team.

Director: Boyapati Srinu
Producer: Alexander Vallabha ( presented by KS Rama rao )
Cast: NTR Jr, Trisha, Karthika Nair
Music: MM. Keeravani
Lyrics: Chandrabose
NTR
Jr. and Keeravani share a special relation as whenever they worked
togather, both movie and music achieved success. Notable movies are
Simhadri, Yamadonga, Student Number 1. The music along with the movies
remained as repeated hearing/viewing movies in the career of NTR Jr.
Then Boyapati Srinu attained huge success with his earlier movie Simha
and created a trend for his own regarding mass movies. He has proved
with Simha what it takes to make a mass movie and keep not only the fans
of the Hero, but every one glued to this movie with great interest
towards the movie. With this back drop, Dammu by default has huge
expectations not only movie wise, but music too. For the given caliber
of NTR, the music has to be mass oriented with the title and trailers
suggesting the same. Chandrabose has got single name card for Lyrics. He
is the one who writes mass songs with no hesitation, inhibitions and
limitations. MM keeravani bagged the audio rights for this movie and the
music is released from his label Vel Records. Lets see how the team
worked togather to meet the expectations and whether they achieved it or
not.
There
are total 5 songs for the movie and one song repeated for Audio, either
for filling up space or just wanted to share a pre-recorded version of
the song. Also since Vel records bagged this audio, you get to listen to
the signature Sound of Vel. The songs are as follows
1. O Lilly
Artist(s): Baba Sehgal and Chorus.
Keeravani
made sure Baba Sehgal not heard much alone. He managed his voice very
well either by adding chorus or instruments at places in the song.
Otherwise if one listens clearly, one will listens and understands
different meanings. Chchavve(death), instead of chaave. On and off this
reminds a song that was recently released movie. Chandrabose is day by
day degrading in his lyrics. He has to write a mass song is what he has
to To tell the lady as angel, he used all angles, then he wrote, Major
ayina ninnu choosi roju roju raajukundi. Sound completely dominated song, which is not the likes of Keeravani. He tried too many things in the song. Depends upon NTR how he can take this song to reach to his fans and audience.
2. Ruler (Movie Version)
Artist(s): Prudhvi Chandra, Geetha Madhuri, Revanth, Sahiti
This
start of the song totally a surprise from MM Keeravani. Rap with heavy
accent which totally messed up the words is totally unwarranted from MM
Keeravani who is regarded as pinnacle to Telugu language. The song
starts with various kingdoms anga, vanga kalinga, kerala, magadha,
laanti chakravarthulunna, then various arts katha, chitralekhanam,
sangeetam, hasta saamudrikam then skills baana, vajra danda finally
telling he is sakala vidya prapoornudu... Many such high profile rulers
and words to elevate the character are messed up big time. This not only
confuses every listener also makes it very hard to get the hand of the
words. Understand Keeravani tried
to build up the introduction to elevate the song to a level which he
achieved when actually Ruler is pronounced first time in the song, but
definetely didn't work out the way it is desired.
Having said that, there after its a feast to fans. Then
Keeravani succeeded to bring the effect he wanted, by bringing in the
beats, tempo and energy. However in between the song goes ups and down.
Suddenly the tempo vanishes when female singer comes in and then the
tempo starts again. I think this has to do something with the
picturization of the song in the movie. This song will be highly
appreciated by fans the way it is carried, when the song ends, fans will
go frenzy for sure... but on flip side leaves any music lover
disappointed.
3. Raja Vasi Reddy
Artist(s): MM. Keeravani, Krishna Chaithanya, chorus
Nuvvu
whistle este Andhra soda buddy, the charm of the song from Simhadri re-
used and the the interludes are also re-used, making keeravani's job
pretty easy for this song. Taata korina manavadu nenai-to----buttuvu
-- didn't expect Keeravani to sing the way he sang. Tobuttuvu is one
word not two.. These days words are messed up for the sake of music
which is happening quite often. Other than that song is good to hear.
Everyone did their best bringing in right emotions and energy.
Interludes have become monotonous now a days with Rap induced forcefully
just for the sake of youth. Who is asking this not sure? Also songs are
no more singer oriented. Krishna Chaitanya is lost in the crowd.
4. Vaastu Bagunde
Artist(s): Rahul Sipilgunj, Shivani, Sravana Bhargavi
Chandrabase
comes to his basics with his song. He uses all the directions for
his convenience and appeal masses. Whether they make sense or not
it doesn't matter for any body as it is a mass song and the focus is all
towards NTR (probably few on heroines) and his dance steps. When it is a
pakka mass song, beats will be oriented towards the same. Keeravani
does no mistake in this. Again rap in between, thought its not an issue
for this song. Again too loud music for this type of song. What is
happening to Keeravani??
5. Dhammu
Artist(s): Rahul Sipilgunj, Shivani, Sravana Bhargavi
Song
title matches movie title. It ends there. Dammu, Sommu how they are
related movie might explain or chandrabose.Once again pure mass song.
Shivani's voice is too weak at times. Sravana bhargavi brought in some
different effect to the song. Keeravani doesn't sound fresh in this
song. Rahul sings with good energy and is only the saving grace for this
song.
6. Roolar (Cd Version)
Artist(s): MM. Keeravani, Geetha Madhuri
It has same positives and negatives doesn't offer anything better.
Pick(s) of the album: Ruler, Raja Vasi Reddy, Vastu bagunde
It has same positives and negatives doesn't offer anything better.
Pick(s) of the album: Ruler, Raja Vasi Reddy, Vastu bagunde
Overall
this album is again an out and out mass album for NTR Jr. The fans
will come out with flying colors, but keeravani's fans and rest will not
get a huge takeaway from his album. If heard without expectations from
Keeravani, this album would have been a decent album, but when
comparision comes in picture with earlier combination movies, this music
will not offer much.
Director: kranti Madhav
Lyrics: Seetarama Sastry
Cast: Rajendra Prasad & Kalyani
Any telugu person who had Aksharabhyasam will know what is Onamaalu is
all about. Comes with a caption "Mee balyam loki maro prayaanam",
Onamaalu movie has a great expectations as the movie trailer are so
fantastic and heart touching. Rajendra Prasad and Kalyani starrer looks
very promising meaningful movie. Expectations are that this would be
another feather in cap for Rajendra Prasad. With this backdrop, the
music has been released. After Dhoni, Sirivennela gets another single
card as lyricist for this movie ONAMAALU. Koti and Sirivennela delivered
some great songs earlier. Lets see how this team worked togather this
time, what did they do to the movie and music. All songs are less than 4
minutes which is less than the standard song length. One song goes
close to 7 minutes which is definetely a time to look.
01 - Sooridu - Koti
Koti might have thought when every other music director is singing why
not me? And he does better than many of the professional importer
singers. Entire song tries to brings the village infront of our eyes.
Sound of the chicken/hen, birds, cattle, goats, and many other voices
are good to hear. It brings out many aspects out in the song. Chorus
after a long time sounded so refreshing. The carnatic interlude added
flavor. Seetaramasastry's lyrics depicts a different perspective of his
favorite Sun. He relates Sun to many things around and tries to wake us
up. They are treat to listen. "poddanaka kuniketi aggi raajuni aadi
sande pellam vachi gillindaa, ginta kaanti kallaapini jallindaa" kind of
words are possible only for his kind of lyricits.
02 - Arudhaina - Srikrishna
Srikrishna's fantastic rendering makes so listening so soothing. Koti's
violins did a lot of magic in this song. Srikrishna and the music goes
hand in hand and forms a good combination. He tried his best to bring in
the expressions, he is on right path to mature singer and to be more
expressive. Song appears too short. Once again Sirivennela steals the
show in Lyrics department. "kanuvindu gaa aligindi sreemati". Srimati
aligite kanuvindela avutundi? One has to hear the song. Koti's tune is
very much in tune with lyrics added by notable contribution by
Srikrishna makes the song listen more and more.
03 - Pandugante - Krishna Chaitanya,Chaitra
This song brings in a new definition of various festivals in villages.
Krishna Chaitanya and Chaitra performed well and brings in right amount
of details of the song.
04 - Hey Yamma - Malavika
This song suprises as it changes gear all of sudden. A different song in
this genre movie. A short bit compared to rest of the songs as it runs
for 2:04 minutes. Could be a passing song in the movie. Every one
involved in this song does their job as required.
05 - Pillalu Bagunnara -Nitya Santoshini
A very heart touching song that is aimed at people who left home village
to a far away places for their better livelyhood. A village trying to
ask their kids about their welfare once they left the place. Sirivennela
excels with his thought ful lyrics. His words isimply are mesmerizing.
One has to hear this song just to feel his thought process and his
greatness of expressing them thru simple words. Tune and singer just are
there to feel their presence.Nitya sontoshini has some problems in few
words, The words "Evarra Evayyarraa" could have been done better.
However she brings the right emotion of the song.
Pick(s) of the Album: Sooridu, Arudaina, Pillalu Bagunnaara
Sirivennela is the hero of the album. Koti must have done music to this
album after lyrics are written.I am sure he might have been moved by the
lyrics. Complete telugu album and a different genre of music might.
This will be appreciated by telugu lovers and people who has an ear
towards this type of genre songs. They are not like the other commercial
songs, but will grab many people for few hearings.

If reports of a US based
magazine 'Business Insider' are to be believed, AICC chief Sonia Gandhi
is the fourth richest politician in the world. As per the reports, her
assets worth $2-19 billion, which is about Rs 10,000-45,000 crore.
As per the affidavit filed
before the 2009 general elections, Sonia Gandhi has movable assets worth
Rs 1.17 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 20 lakhs. Based on these
information, Sonia's income can't be more than Rs 60 lakh per annual.
The Business Insider's report,
however, indicates Sonia is more corrupt than any other politician in
the country. Other names in the list - Saudi Arabia's king Abdullah Bin
Abdul Aziz with assets worth $21 billion tops the list. Last in the list
is US Senator John Kerry who owns wealth worth $181-$281 million.
Another Indian in the list is Savitri Jindal, who stood at the 7th spot
with with net worth of $13.2 billion

Crazy director Puri Jagannath
has the knack of wrapping up the shooting of big ticket film in
relatively less number of working days. He proved that with Mahesh's
'Businessman' and is gearing up to repeat the same magic with 'Cameraman
Gangatho Rambabu' starring Powerstar
Pawan Kalyan.
Puri announced the release date
of 'Businessman' on the day of Muhurat and it worked wonders for all the
people who were associated with the film. He once again followed the
same strategy, but this time with Pawan Kalyan's 'Cameraman Gangatho
Rambabu'.
"Though I tried several times to
team up with Pawan Kalyan garu who gave me life with 'Badri', somehow
the plans got delayed due to various reasons. 'Cameraman Gangatho
Rambabu' is my 25th film as director and I'm very happy to do this film
with Pawan. This the story of a news reporter. It is a different action
film, which will have all the elements that fans and audience expect
from Pawan Kalyan. The regular shooting would kickstart from May 2nd
week and the film will be released worldwide on October 18," said Puri.
Huge expectations were riding on
the crazy combo of Pawan-Puri. Let's wish both of them delivers another
smashing hit at the Box Office!!!

While shooting for the remake of
this blockbuster yesteryear song, Yuga Star Ramcharan got injured and
there is a pause in shooting. Now, this is going to cost an extra 1
crore for the makers!
As the 'Racha' team got plenty
of time now to revisit their work with Charan's unavailability, many
thoughts and ideas are flowing in, say sources. The song was supposedly
finished except a few dance moves involving just hero. However, the
makers are now going for 'graphics' rain for the entire song and this is
going to cost a cool one crore extra. Top notch technicians who have
worked for 'Magadheera' are called for, to add CG rain to this
prestigious song. Graphical elements like water splashing on the hot
body of heroine will come as extra addition now.
Already, cinematographer Sameer
Reddy has roped in a Hollywood 'Colorist' to work on the final look and
feel of the movie. The overall budget for this song has now shot up to 3
crores and the producers look quite comfortable, as they can extract
the money easily with 'Racha' releasing simultaneously in 3 languages.
If the film delays further, we don't know what idea will strike these
makers and too much cooking will lead to a spoiled dish!

One of the recent bumper hits of
Tollywood is 'Businessman' and it has reiterated the stand of prince
Mahesh Babu as the reigning superstar of Tollywood. In between, there
was also a talk that Mahesh would take the same film to Bollywood and
mark his debut to capture the hearts of the Hindi audience.
However, here is the latest
update. It is heard that 'Businessman' has been finalized in Hindi and
this would be directed by Puri Jagannadh while the eccentric genius Ram
Gopal Varma is the producer. As for the lead, it is heard that Abhishek
Bachchan would be stepping into the shoes of Mahesh Babu.
Currently, RGV is busy with
giving the final touches to his movie 'Department' which is scheduled
for a release in May. On the other hand, many are waiting to see who
would be taking the place of the saucy seductress Kajal Agarwal as the
leading lady for Hindi 'Businessman'.

Big stars and directors
generally stand first in giving frank opinions about their team and this
puts them in a fix sometimes. Our superstar Mahesh Babu had one such
moment recently. Here goes the story!
The other day Superstar Mahesh
attended a public function where music director Anoop Rubens was another
guest. Though Anoop has never worked for Mahesh, there is a connection
between them. Popular production house RR Makers signs deals with
technicians and actors for a long term, and striking hot Isha Chawla and
music-man Anoop are best examples for this. Both need to do five flicks
for RR as per the agreement signed.
However, when Anoop is to start
work on RR's 'Dookudu', it is Mahesh who has requested for replacement
and roped in Thaman. Anoop was heard a little bit disappointed then,
with Superstar not believing in his talent and tunes. Later, Anoop
rocked the tinsel town with 'Poola Rangadu' and 'Ishq', and is now
coming up with 'Lovely'. Onlookers shared that Mahesh is uncomfortable
to exchange looks with the music director for a while and everything is
alright after some time. Superstar's choices are always different and
you should be different to become a Superstar!

Ever since the time she set
foot on this planet, more than half the world and this entire country
has been curious to know her name. In between this, atleast a dozen
names were given to her without her knowledge. However, she was tagged
as Beti B by her family and now she has got a name.
She happens to be the new
member of the most powerful celebrity family in India and is the
daughter of the celebrity couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya
Bachchan. Now, the update is that Beti B has got a name and she is
called as Aaradhya Bachchan. Sources say this name was registered few
days back.
Though there was a lot of
pressure from the media and other avenues to reveal the name, the
Bachchan family has not budged. So far, an official announcement has
also not been made regarding the name. But let us hope that Aaradhya
Bachchan is indeed the name

This is the hot gossip that is
making rounds in film nagar now. Ram Charan's Racha storyline is pretty
similar to Allu Arjun's 'Bunny' movie, which itself was a mix of various
commercial potboilers. Bunny did well at the box office to complete the
hat-trick of hits for Allu Arjun. Raghu Babu's blind comedy and Devi
Sri Prasad's songs played vital role in it.
Sampath Nandi's subject is
strikingly similar to Bunny as Racha too has a flashback involving
hero's father (played by Parthipan) and the hero fights for a social
cause (a problem related to Telangana area. In Bunny it was Polavaram
Dam issue). Strong buzz is making rounds in film nagar that Racha might
end up as average fare at the box office.
Audio hasn't lived up to the
expectations and the trailer looks mediocre and cliched. So a lot will
depend upon the comedy factor in this movie. Let's see if it has the
required fuel in that department before believing in these rumors.

Loads of talent is making her
the most sought after actress these days. But, What shocks us is that a
lady of heroine material is resorting to motherly roles. Folks, this is
Lakshmi Manchu for you.
After proving her acting prowess
as evil queen Irendri in 'Anaganaga O Dheerudu', Lakshmi Manchu entered
the big league of women actors. However, the curvy siren is taking
careful steps in selecting scripts. Currently, the dusky seductress (off
course, she has to prove this angle still) is busy with talented
filmmaker Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' and her own production 'Gundello
Godari'. Reportedly, the tall lady is said to be portraying the role of
Samantha's mother in this Maniratnam flick. Paired alongside action hero
and talented Arjun, both the couple are playing a strict middle class
parents, say sources.
Generally after watching LP in
Ramu's 'Dongala Muta', one expects to see her sizzle in a ravishing
role, than an artistic portrayal. But, interesting characterization and
magical screenplay by Mani sir made her bend for this movie, it appears.
Let us see, how she woes the audience with her 'acting' extravaganza!

If the latest buzz is to be believed, this is going to be a great news for Power Star Pawan Kalyan's fans. As per the reports, 'gabbar singh's' audio release function will be celebrated on a very grand scale on Saturday, 7th April in three cities and they are Hyderabad, Tirupathi and Vizag. If it really comes into reality, definitely, the audio launch of 'gabbar singh' is going to be one of the historical events of tollywood. Currently, Pawan Kalyan's fans are very much excited with this gossip. However, official confirmation from the makers about this news is still awaited.
Currently, the climax episode of the movie is being shot near Mount Opera on Hyderabad- Vijayawada highway. The film unit will leave for abroad on 10th April to shoot balance two songs shoot and subsequently the entire shooting part of the movie will be finished. The film is slated for 9th May release.

With a noble intention to encourage the young and new talents into Tollywood, here are producers of Sanghamitra Arts banners of Pawan Kalyan ‘Panjaa’ fame are set to start three new projects. After filtering nearly 1000 stories, they have finalized three of which the details are as follows:
1. ‘alias janaki’ will be a love story directed by Chandu of ‘10th Class’ fame.
2. ‘A Shyam Gopal Varma Film - Naa Cinema Naa Ishtam’ will be a satirical comedy attack on never to mention the name…RGV to be directed by Rakesh Srinivas.
3. ‘Arere Arere’ is a romantic comedy entertainer to be directed by Sasikiran Tikka, a protégé of Sekhar Kammula.
Films will go on sets in next month and further details will be announced at appropriate hour

Rapport between rajamouli and Ramcharan was at the very best as seen in ‘Magadheera.’ Then on the mutual well wishes between Mega family members and rajamouli continued. On majority of audio releases or movie launches from Mega camp, presence of Jakkanna is almost mandatory. Same was seen at ‘Rachcha’ audio launch wishing Cherry and his team all the very best.
Later on rajamouli gave his final opinion on ‘Rachcha’ audio on Twitter and here it is. ‘I liked Racha title song, cherry cherry and vaana remix. Massy racy numbers. Charan has a winner album on his hand. All d best!!!’ Well, same seems to be the response from public too.
