Actor Junior NTR is set to campaign for the Telugu Desam. The actor met the Telugu Desam president, Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday morning on the latter’s invitation and spent about 20 minutes with him.Mr Naidu said that Junior NTR was his relation and there was no political significance to the meeting. "He is my relative. We keep meeting," Mr Naidu said with a smile. Asked if Junior NTR would campaign for the Telugu Desam, Mr Naidu quipped, "Why? What’s the doubt? You will see him soon."Party sources said that Mr Naidu had asked Junior NTR to participate in the TD campaign along with other family members and he had agreed to do so whenever he was not shooting. He was also reportedly asked to keep himself free for TD rallies and meetings. The actor had stayed away from the Telugu Desam’s Yuva Garjana in Guntur last month on the plea that he had a shooting scheduled that day.Other actors of the NTR clan like Balakrishna, Harikrishna, Kalyan Ram and Taraka Ratna participated in the meeting, sparking speculation that all is not well in the family. There were reports that Junior NTR was being wooed by the Congress. To put the speculation at rest, Mr Naidu reportedly invited Junior NTR and sought his presence in TD campaigns.
